Writing gives me tremendous pleasure. Whatever the subject – reindeer farming, mental health advocacy, managing performance, amphibious housing – I love the whole process. The reading, the research and the sifting. The satisfying moment when I find the nugget of the story. The shaping and polishing of the script or text.
Over the years, films and digital media written by me have won awards from the IVCA (International Visual Communications
Association), British Association of Communicators in Business, US International Film and
Video Festival, WorldFest Houston and other international organisations.
I have an MA in Italian and History of Art from Edinburgh University and I'm a long-standing member of the IVCA and the Writers Guild of Great Britain.
