Listen to Sense
I wrote the winning pitch document, and subsequent script, for a 10 minute drama that was a key element of the MOD’s Listen to Sense campaign. Its aim was to raise awareness of the importance of wearing ear defenders so as to avoid NIHL (noise induced hearing loss).

IET Faraday
The Real Stars of Sport was a year long programme of activities for secondary school students exploring science in action, commissioned by the Institution of Engineering & Technology. I researched the stories and scripted the three films that formed the core of the learning activity. The previous year's Faraday films, also scripted by me, won the IVCA gold award for education.

Giving Feedback – emotional intelligence in action
With the help of Hay Group, I researched and wrote this highly praised training drama for managers, for sell through to private and public sector organisations. The story features formal and informal feedback – how it can go wrong, and what it should look like when done well. 

Recipe for Health & Safety
A documentary training DVD for 18-30 year olds entering the catering industry, with interactive version available online. I researched it by interviewing a H&S consultant and staff at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant and hotel, then built up a script outline and notes for an introduction from Rick.

Prelude
A European Environment Agency interactive presentation consisting of five different scenarios on how life in Europe could change over the next 30 years on the basis of environmental, social and economic trends. I wrote scripts for animations and short stories for each scenario. (IVCA gold and silver awards for multimedia, IVCA Clarion)

The Future Starts Here
I researched and structured this interview-based internal communication video commissioned by a telecoms company about the Next Generation Access (NGA) fibre network: why it’s vital to Britain’s future competitiveness and to the company, and what it will mean for the workforce.

Healthcare communications
Video scripts for product launches and pharmaceutical company mergers. Educational and awareness-raising films for doctors, including dramatised patient video diaries, and a 25-minute stage play for an audience of mental health professionals.

Starting a Business – the No-Nonsense Guide
This set of six modular booklets for Business Link is designed to help people starting a new business to work through everything they need to know and do in order to plan and prepare their business. I based it on existing materials from the Business Link regions.

I interviewed the incoming President of the Timber Trade Federation and wrote it up as the lead story in their monthly newsletter, 'Focus'.
